Part-time administrative support role

Luther King House and Centre are seeking to appoint a part-time administrative support role. You will offer flexible admin support across our Finance, Registry, Library and Reception teams.

We are a small, friendly, supportive organisation with a strong ethos of teamwork and we are looking for someone to become another great team member.

The successful candidate will be a highly organised individual. There must be willingness to work in a team and to respond creatively to a complex and changing work environment.

The post is a part-time flexible role of 20 hours per week. There may be additional hours available at times. Core weekly working hours can be agreed either across certain days of the week, or between the hours of 9.30 and 2.30pm. There is the need for occasional evening or weekend working to support our Reception team.

We are seeking potential and transferable skills as much as experience in specific tasks. Full training will be provided.

Essential requirements:

• GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above

• Comfortable with computer systems: particularly with Microsoft programmes

• Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• Experience in public facing roles with good customer service skills

• Experience of developing and maintaining computerised record systems

Person skills:

• A flexible can-do attitude

• Ability to prioritise, manage fluctuating workload and work to deadlines

• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work within a team and independently

• Good telephone manner and other communication skills

• Able to work under pressure in a calm and courteous manner

£11.50/hour.
