Our quad, and the nature that surrounds us, is starting to blossom!
Being based in central Manchester, Luther King is not where you would expect nature to find sanctuary. Yet each year, we discover new friends living at our site which bring the magic of our learning community our for all to see and appreciate.
We’ve had woodpeckers, ducklings, parakeets, and squirrels. And this year, we have a new neighbour!
As part of our staff nature initiatives, we have a number of bird houses around the quad. We’re pleased to share that one of them is currently inhabited by a beautiful blue tit!
Everyone at Luther King is delighted at this news and looks forward to seeing some little beaks popping out of the bird houses.
