An introduction to studying theology designed to build confidence for those who have had a break from education or for those pursuing academic study for the first time.

BA (Hons) Degree

Overview

Our full degree course develops your understanding of the Bible, mission, theology and pastoral practices and gives you the opportunity to explore your faith through extended academic work.

When studying for a BA at Luther King, you can take modules covering topics such as:

  • Faith, arts and culture
  • Biblical languages
  • Chaplaincy
  • Postcolonial and intersectional theologies

Entry Requirements

  • Three A-Levels or equivalent
  • Students who have successfully completed the Diploma in Theology, Ministry and Mission may be admitted to Level 6 of the BA programme.
  • Mature students with relevant work experience who do not meet the above entry requirement may be admitted to the programme after successfully completing 20 credits at level 4 on a taster basis. Graduates in other subjects may enter the BA programme.
