About the Internship

Explore is a fully funded programme for young adults aged 18-25. Each intern is based in a local church community or pioneering context, and has a chance to study at Luther King Theological College.

There are opportunities to gain experience in various areas of church mission and ministry, including children’s work, youth work, schools and community engagement, worship, teaching and preaching, pastoral care, ecumenical partnerships, audio and visual technology, and church leadership.

Our internships include training weekends away with other interns and students at Luther King Theological College, as well as opportunities to take part in regional youth weekends, and Ministers’ conferences, and network opportunities with other young adults in the wider Baptist Union
